“Take Time” is a part of my Philippians 4:7-9 series. It was created when I was in the middle of launching my site. It was an overwhelming time and that influenced my thoughts while painting. I was frustrated with painting something so small after painting so many large ones. It felt suffocating, I kept getting closer and closer—until I was literally an inch from the canvas. Then God reminded me of an art basic, take a step back from your work. Things take time to get used to. Things take time to learn. Growing is a part of the process, and you miss that if your focus is too close to the “problem”. You are not growing alone; God’s peace is there when you focus on Him and remember that it takes time to bloom.
This is a one-of-a-kind original painting — acrylic and charcoal on canvas, 8” x 10”
