Surrender-Proverbs 3:5-6 Original
You know it's a color combination that God is trying to get you to use when He uses one of your one-year-old students to prove that it works. I originally said no to using this color combo, green and orange? Really? But God had other plans and kept it in my brain until the moment with my baby student, I surrendered. Proverbs 3:5-6 calls for trust in Him and not leaning on one’s own understanding. I wrote in my sermon notebook one Sunday, when the pastor was talking about surrendering: “Windmill Painting: Surrender to the wind, Surrender Daily.” A windmill stands firm and lets the wind direct which way to spin. God has promised to direct our steps if we would put our trust in Him.
