Secret Place- Psalms 91:1-2 Original

Peace, happiness, contentment, and warmth. These are what this painting is, it is home. Though the background was painted during ice storms, I didn’t want this painting to be cold. On cold winter nights, the best thing is being home wrapped in a blanket, with a good book, and a warm drink. When the world is cold, stormy, and lonely, we have a safe warm place to be. Psalms 91:1 talks about dwelling in the secret place and being “under the shadow of the Almighty.” God is a safe place out of the cold—our warmth and home. Though we may be secluded we are not alone.

This is a one-of-a-kind original painting — acrylic and charcoal on canvas, 24" x 36” painted in 2026.
