One of my favorite details about “Renewal- 2 Corinthians 4:16” is the fact that the background and sunflowers colors are seemingly switched— an idea I used heavily in the paintings that followed. “Renewal” came to represent a line from the prayer my dad has prayed over us since we were children. "That we may be renewed, even as your loving kindness and tender mercies are renewed every morning," and this led to 2 Corinthians 4:16. May we never give up, for God is renewing us every morning.
