Preparing-John 14:2-3 Original

I just needed to paint that morning, the morning my grandmother passed away, so I painted the background. I read John 14 and the 2nd and 3rd lines felt personal this time, that there was a place prepared already for my grandmother. I had put flowers in the birds’ claw — my paintings don’t feel like my work unless they have flowers or foliage in them. God led me to think about why the eagle would be carrying flowers. It would be bringing them to make its home; It would be preparing its nest… This hit me hard and I was amazed because what I had meant for just a detail God had planned for the meaning!
