Just Breathe-Philippians 4:7-9 Original

“Just Breathe” is a part of my Philippians 4:7-9 series. It was created during the time leading up to my website launch. It became a reminder to actually take a breath because I had been holding my breath from all the stress. The painting process wasn’t the stress reliever it normally was because of the tight space of the smaller canvas. I felt like I had no room to breathe during the painting process, on top of being overwhelmed from everything outside of painting. God took these paintings to remind me of things that are simple yet important. I can only do so much, and that it’s okay that it takes time to learn something new, just step back and take a deep breath. God is the one who gives you breath, and when we focus and breathe Him in, He also gives us peace.

This is a one-of-a-kind original painting — acrylic and charcoal on canvas, 8" x 10"
