Fill You With- Romans 15:13 Original

Roses are apparently my arch nemesis—it took more attempts than I’d like to admit to get them right. I decided to keep working despite and through the frustrations they gave me though. This struggle affected how I saw them, and I just couldn’t like them. However, other people did. The things I kept seeing as something wrong, other people loved. I couldn’t understand it, how can people like what I hate?  When I was dwelling on the meaning I decided I wanted it to be a prayer for its viewers— And that’s how it became “Fill You With -Romans 15:13” I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace.

This is a one-of-a-kind original painting — acrylic and charcoal on canvas, 10” x 20”
