Given All For You-Isaiah 53:5 Original

This is a one-of-a-kind original painting — acrylic and charcoal on canvas, 18” x 24”, painted in 2026.

It all started as a sketch, drawn on the 4^th of July, for fun. But I loved the idea so much my brain started to create a painting. As I started on the painting, I was praying for whoever would be viewing the painting and God gave me the word “healing.” It literally just popped out of my mouth mid-prayer. I continued painting and while I was putting in the stripes, it hit me what I was painting… stripes. This thought led to the scripture “…by His stripes we are healed…” from Isaiah 53:5. God didn’t stop there! The American flag makes me think of the soldiers who have sacrificed for our country, and this thought led to Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice for us. And the beginning of verse 5 talks about how it is because of this sacrifice that we can be healed.
